Family Photos 2014

Happy 2nd Birthday Lil'Lil!

Happy Birthday #2 Lily!

Wednesday we celebrated the second birthday of our sweet little lily lu lu. We had a great day, mark and I took the day off of work to celebrate with our baby girl. We went to the childrens museum here in Tucson. Lily loved it! She was able to run from room to room playing with the different activities, climbing and throwing things around and there was nothing for her to hurt herself on or for her to break. It was a toddlers dream. She really enjoyed playing with the ambulance and fire truck station…future EMT? 

Then we had lunch at her favorite restaurant, sweet tomatoes. She chose the place, which was not where her daddy wanted to go, but it was HER DAY!

We then got together with our family and celebrated her birthday with pizza and cake. Her theme this year was sesame street, really low key. Only family attended, which is what we wanted since we would have to get up for work in the morning. Lily really enjoyed opening her many birthday presents and even blew out her own candle with no help at all! She is getting so big and talking more and more every day. We love our litte lily so so so much and thank our heavenly father for blessing our lives with her sweet little spirit. She is kind, funny and intelligent and I could not have asked for a more amazing child to be a mother to…she makes this job seem easy!

I read about friends who struggle with their children, and I’m not saying that I have never struggled with lily (cause then I’d be a liar), but I can honestly say that she is an amazing kid and makes my life more enjoyable. If you know her, then you know exactly what I mean. She is the BESTEST EVER!!! I can’t wait for the day when I get to spend all day with her, to help her learn and grow…some day.

2!!!! My baby is already turning two! Feels like I just planned her first! She is growing so big so fast. We took a few pictures this weekend in our back yard. Love this girl!! We will post more about her b-day after Wednesday

Two Loves

We had a great Valentine's day! No pics since I wanted to just enjoy my time with Mark (I take to many photos) we exchanged gifts through the day, Mark trumped me in the gift giving for sure... as always. We dressed up and hit a movie and dinner, We saw Robocop (very romantic) and went to Sullivans for dinner. My favorite part of the dinner? The people watching! Mark and I have fun guessing how people enjoy their company, people are interesting. The day was romantic and it was so nice to be alone with my love. I'm so grateful for his sweetness and love for me... makes life easier.
As for miss Lily? She got lots of love! Here are some pics of her with her Valentine treats.
