Family Pictures 2020

We also got our pictures professonaly taken. It's been a long time, and had them taken by Comet Photos which is owned by my gym friend Haylee Bridges. She did a wonderful job and I love them. They were taken out by the Salt River which is one of our favorite places to go as a family. We even got to see the wild horses. So cool. Putting them all on here so I have another spot to go to incase they get lost.

Pictures from November/December 2020

Now all the pictures, lot's of them, in no particular order.

This was my sleep performance on Christmas. No wonder I didn't feel cheery. lol

Mark enjoying his back scratcher.

Love these two and how much they love eachother!

Lily mended Jacobs favorite teddy that had lost a leg. She worked so hard sewing it together so he could play with it again. He was so excited when she brought it out Christmas day. Jacob had wrapped up some of his favorite legos to give to lily, cause he knew she would like to pretend to play 'Among Us' which is her favorite game with the legos. These two have such serviceful, loving hearts. The know exactly what it means to give and it makes us so proud.

Lily would leave a note every night for Candy Cane thanking her for the activities and fun she created. I love lily's imagination and personality. She is so much fun.

Christmas eve and ready for Santa! Jacob was so nervous Santa would pass our house because they were not in bed 'mom! can't you see I'm tired! Santa will not come to us now!' lol! He still struggled to fall asleep. He and Lily slept together and were hyping eachother up. The were not allowed to come and see santa stuff until after 5:00am. I heard them wake and saying 'we can't go out till 5 am! Alexa, What time is it? 'it is 5:02 am'...Yay! lets wake up mom and dad!' lol! it was so cute, but i was hoping they would at least sleep till 7am. lol.

I actually sent out Christmas cards this year! proud of myself.

Candy Cane left out a special note to celebrate christmas eve. We had slept by the Christmas tree as a family and then did a hunt for the 10 symbols of Christmas in the morning for us to discuss at night. It was fun!

Our lights this year

Lily trying to keep warm and cool.

Loop of lights! Our neighborhood was lit this year! almost every house on our block had lights, the plus side of everyone being home.

Our view of the Great Conjunction or Christmas star. Jupiter and Saturn were the closest they have been in over 400 years and we got to see it! I was reading some articles about the occurrences throughout history, and there is belief that the Star of Bethlehem was a Great Conjunction that occurred three times in the year of the saviors birth. we had a great lesson about the Star and Christ being the light of the world. Then we had a snowball fight on the trampoline and long walk around the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights.

Lily and Bianca with her Christmas outfit.

Snuggles under the Whoo Whoo. We were cold, I hadn't caved yet of turning on the heater.

Our Ninja Ginja Dojo!

Me in the emergency room...wth.

Lily had her Piano recital and did an excellent job playing Carol of the Bells. This is her teacher Mrs. Shannon.

Jacobs Lego ornament he made, and lily made lots of beautiful snowflakes for Candy-Cane to place around the house.

Lots of baking shows. I love the inspiration it gives me!

One of our neighbors put up Krampus outside their house. So logically we taught the kids who krampus was and Mark used it to his advantage all season long.

The following are pics from San Diego and Liz's beautiful wedding.

Sarah also got engaged to Dallin, her boyfriend since middle school. Hopefully we will have a wedding in March! Congrats to them.

Naturally I read it. And it brought my heart joy. Love our girl!

Lily wanted to see my wedding dress, so she got to try it on too. She felt silly, but I loved it.

A bosa donuts opened by our house. free donuts for a week, and now i'm hating the scale. Looking forward to getting back on track. Holidays are just too much fun for my mouth.
