Family photos 2017

Did some debating on whether or not to do Family photos. Jacob can't sit still and Lily doesn't like to look at the camera. Did not want to waist $100 on photos you can't even tell whose in it. BUT I love Groupon. Got a photo session and prints thru JCPenny Studios (which I thought was ghetto, but not!) for only $20! Couldn't pass that up. Next year maybe we will do some fancy outdoor photos with the family...that is if my children follow orders.
I told lily and Jacob if they listened to the photographer and smiled for the camera we would go to Bahama bucks. I had no idea that Lily was putting the cheesiest smiles ever! She is such a nut, but totally did what I'd asked her to do and was rewarded. And I was rewarded with her hilarious faces.

November 2017

Took me a while, but I finally have time to post about November. Not much to say aside from Thanksgiving.
We had a fun Thanksgiving in Tucson. David, Isaac and Briana came. Along with Nanita and her family. I love it when I can be with my siblings and their beautiful families. We laugh a lot and talk a lot. My family is different then most families I observe. Very rarely are we watching a movie or playing a board game. We enjoy talking about politics, science and even religion sometimes. It's so fun.

 Thanksgiving, I made a lot of pies. We were also responsible for the Turkey's, but the Turkey fryer broke! Good thing my mom always comes over prepared and roasted a Turkey and a ham. Thanksgiving was saved!

 Mark is coaching lilys soccer team this season. He's doing a great job. Lily is doing a great job also! Enjoying getting into athletics again.

 Fun times with the family. Fire pits, Eegees, swimming (cause it was like 90 degrees in November) and Hiking. I even saw a crossfit games athlete and totally was having a geek moment gawking at her.

 Tucson hiking, such a unique landscape. Had a blast.

 Cheesy times as the puro latin of the family had the men of the family pass out roses to all the women of the home. Yes, it was awkward.

Lily and I have rekindled our love for Snapchat thanks to my sister. Its really the only thing that can make me feel attractive again...cause obviously makeup doesn't work. lol
