Spring Break and Other fun

March is not officially over yet, but I'm just going to say the fun stuff is over. Had a good month, so here are some of the highlights. Looking forward to next month for Easter and DISNEYLAND!!!

Mark was gone for two weeks this month for work. Chicago and then South Carolina. So it was just the kids and I. The first week he was gone, it was lilys spring break, so we went to Tucson to spend it at my moms. It was nice to have her with me, less lonely. I really hate it when mark is gone cause I miss talking to him. With my mom there, it helped. And it was fun to be in Tucson, I got to visit some old friends and places. It was good. Then the week after that we were home and spent time going on outings and enjoying the fun around our town. I love my home. And I was even happier when Mark came home.
I signed up this year to be a judge for the crossfit Open. I loved it! Nothing makes me more happy then to see people accomplish things they never thought they could do. I may have cried happy tears for people, I'm a baby.

We love having a temple near by. Got some bahama bucks and walked around the temple.

Free DQ day, lilys funny and Lily wanted to watch the movie coco with our faces painted. They are both so fun!

Spring break with my babies. We also made our countdown to Disneyland chain. We are excited.
I was able to do a drop in at Bion Crossfit in Tucson which is actually my old trainer Kory's new gym. It was beautiful. Almost makes me want to move back to Tucson! Loved the view and I killed the workout...which made me feel even better.
We've been watching Coco a lot lately. This day Jacob decided he wanted to be Miguel. Took me a little while to figure out what he was doing until he said 'I'm Miguel Mommy' haha!
This amazing girl of ours got Student of the Month AGAIN! Man, she is just the best kid! And it's all her! I pray she always has the fire of a true leader throughout her life. She makes us so dang proud.
Then there's this little stinker. I love this boy! He is so funny. And always so happy. He is mischievous, my little curious George. and makes me laugh so hard. But always gives the best cuddles and hugs, makes my heart feel like it's melting. Love love love my Jacob boo boo!!
Lily finished her second season of Soccer. Now we are going to try out T-ball next month and then Basketball...trying to find her 'thing'
Last weekend we visited Tucson again to celebrate this guys 30th birthday. Alyssa thru a fun Mystery dinner party. I was the Bad-A Cook and Mark was Doctor Fumbles. We had a lot of fun and we miss having the Gardners close by.

I participated in the 2018 Crossfit Open. I was able to do most things RX, but still struggle with the Gymnastics stuff. Something to work on for next year. I was excited about the Burpee workout which I did twice. I was determined to get that clean! Overall the open was a lot of fun and I've set some new goals for myself.

The Rest of February

I forgot to write about the rest of February!

Thru Marks work we were able to go to the Waste Management Tournament. It was a lot of fun, but there were so many people! It was crazy trying to get around the course to see the players. I think it's more of a college party thing then for those who are actually interested in Golf. Next year I think it'll be just Mark and I going. The kids got a little bored.

I did a Valentines day photo shoot with the kids for family, they seemed to have fun with it. Then Valentines day we decided to go to a nice dinner with the whole family. We got nicely dressed and had dinner at Fogo de Chao. We exchanged valentines, lots of candy for the kids, Mark gave me a rose and I got him a giant card with the kids. Kept it simple, but we had a great time together.

Lily's birthday, or rather birthday week, was fun. I love celebrating that girl, she is my heart. We went to Tucson for the weekend so we could celebrate with family. Two celebrations, one at each grandmas house. She enjoyed the cakes and the celebrations. Then on her birthday that Monday, Lily decided her day. Luckily there was no school, so she chose the children's museum, cracker barrel for dinner and a donut cake to celebrate. She had a great birthday.

Lily and Jacob stuff...
Lily LOVES to create games for us to do as a family. This one was a scavenger hunt with clues. She is so creative.

Lilys School 'Pastries w/ Parents'

Jacob decided to do his hair with dads hair wax...silly boy!

Fancy Nancy dressed up for Dress up as your favorite book character day.

Jacob was climbing up the slide at McDonalds when Lily was coming down. Luckily he just sprained his finger, but his little wrap was adorable! He loved telling people what happened to his hand, and still tells people about it after its' been healed.
