Halloween to Thanksgiving 2021
Again, not finding time to write in the family blog. So I am going to try to remember all that has transpired during the fall months.
Halloween time was lots of fun. We stayed fall break at my moms house while we got the carpet, new floors, in door paint and backyard completed. We love the way it turned out and it feels like our house is looking like we want it to now. While we were there we went to Apple annies and picked out some pumpkins and produce, helped to make the weather feel cooler even though it was still in the 90's. Then we went to the a few halloween festivals, and trunk or treats. Lily was a werewolf and had lots of fun putting together her costume. Jacob was an Among Us imposter, which was a hilarious infaitable costume and we all got a good kick out of him wearing it. Nacho was a ninja turtle for the truck or treat, and i played around with a Dali Nacho costume but on Halloween he was costumeless all cozy in his stroller as we walked around. Mark was a good dad and dressed as a werewolf too, not hard with that crazy beard of his and for the trunk or treat i just put a bunch of spiders on myself. The kids collected a lot of candy and we had a good time. More low key this year cause of little nacho, but still love halloween with our little family.
We got to go to the Mesa Temple open house, they redid some of the stuff in the temple and grounds to update it. It was so awesome to go thru the temple with the kids and show them where our family began. Best part of the night was standing in the Celestial room and our little family's reflection looking back at us with the eternal reflection. What a beautiful family Mark and I have created and I am so grateful for the promises we made to eachother in the temple that have helped us to strengthn eachother. I am so grateful our love is eternal!
Thanksgiving was wonderful. All of my siblings and nieces/nephews aside from Daniels family, Brianna and Isacc were there to celebrate at Mom's house. I love being with my family, it is so fun all the discussions we have and to see the kids play with their cousins. I just wish we all lived closer to eachother. We were able to take Andrew and his family around to some places here in town, trying to get them to fall in love with the place so they can move here closer to us! That would be so amazing.
Aside from that, we've just been enjoying Mr. Nacho and all his adorableness. He is now rolling from back to front and front to back. He is just the yummist baby ever and we love him so dang much!
Now onto Christmas fun and the new year!
