How do I put into words, how amazing my husband is? You can’t, it’s impossible.
But I will tell you how extremely proud I am of him. This has not been an easy 6 years of schooling. His first two years, he endured the comments of ‘why community college’ (ie, my parents), but he knew his route was wise. Then the struggle over what to major in, Biology, chemistry, engineering? He looked into what options would provide a job and financial stability in the future for his family, and took a faithful leap into accounting. He managed to achieve stellar grades, while juggling a collegiate athlete status on the golf team, working and getting married to a pretty demanding wife. Then he entered the U of A, and made it into the Eller accounting program, obtained great grades, participated in extracurricular activities/clubs, interviewing for jobs, keeping a job of his own on the side all while becoming a new father and losing his father just before bachelors graduation. THEN he was accepted into the Master’s of Accounting program. Juggled a heart surgery, a job and family with a crazy wife with her crazy health anxieties and yet still ended up graduating with great grades and a great future Job with a top five accounting firm. Holy Cow. HE IS MY HERO!
I’ve always known I was marrying an exceptional man. He makes all of this look so easy, never complains and always looks at the bright side even when everyone else only sees the negative. He deserves the world and I know he will be successful in his career and in our family. Because that is just the kind of man he is. He is such an amazing husband and father. We feel so loved by him. I’ve anticipated thru his schooling that I’d feel neglected due to all the work he has, but he never ever made me feel deprived of his love and attention. He is my best friend, my partner for eternity and I hope and pray that as we continue our journey together that I can be the kind of partner he needs to be successful in this life and in the next. I LOVE MARK ONTIVEROS!
