Disneyland 2018

Bottom right was our first time on Splash Mountain. It was almost closing time, cold night the ride had been closed all day till then. Lily wanted front seat and she got soaked! She was freezing, poor sweetie, but such a trooper. Such a fun kid! Mark looks like he is in pain on every ride, cause he was, but he had lots of fun. I just look like a raptor, I scream a lot on rides, more fun that way ;) We didn't get a lot of our photos, cause we'd forget to get the pic number or our Radiator springs racer photo cause the camera wasn't working, but the ones we did get were great!
We had such a blast at Disneyland! So glad we decided to take the kids, we always thought we'd wait for them to be older, but why wait? Lily and Jacob loved it, and I loved seeing the happiness on their faces meeting the characters, enjoying the rides and seeing the magic in their eyes. I want to go back!
When we walked thru the doors day one, excited!

We spent two days at Disneyland and one day at California adventures. I think the next time we go we will have a buffer in between visits to rest, cause I swear we did not sleep the whole trip.
Day one was at Disneyland. It was a Thursday so it wasn't too crazy busy and luckily it rained in the morning, so there were zero lines for the first few hours. We went on Pirates of the Caribbean first, and the kids thought it was the best thing every, especially Jacob. He loves the movie, so he loved finding skeletons and Jack Sparrow throughout the ride. Then we went on the haunted Mansion, which I thought would scare him, but surprisingly didn't! My kids seriously fear nothing, it's awesome. Then Lily and Grammy went on some bigger rides, and we ride swapped with them when they finished so Mark and I could go on the rides with Lily. It was great to bring Grammy with us so she and lily could go on rides while we took Jacob to see characters and go on some rides too. And then we switched so we could ride with Lily. We kind of took it easy on the first day relaxing through Disneyland, looking back on it, we should have gone on more rides and spent more time in Fantasyland and Toontown with Jacob. He still enjoyed everything he experienced.

This balloon was so worth the money! Jacob woke up that morning day one asking for a Balloon at Disneyland, so Mark had to get him one. Popped an hour later...BUT later that day we saw someone get a new one after theirs popped, so we did the same. Each day after that we got a new balloon. Two weeks later, the balloon is still floating in our house!

Jacob loves Daisy! We have a Daisy stuffed animal he always hugs, so he was so happy to see her at Disneyland...adorable!

Tiana on the steamboat, teacup ride was a fave, The best macaroon ever! and the best sandwhich I've ever had in my life, the Monte Cristo at New Orleans cafĂ©. Seriously, I must have it again! With a Mint Julipe of course.

It was the Pixar fest while we were there so they had lots of fun Pixar themed entertainment. The kids loved the day parade at Disneyland. They do such an amazing job, I love Disneyland so much.

End of day one. It was packed for the fireworks so we didn't get to see them over the castle, but got to watch the projections over the water. Pixar makes me cry, so of course their salute to all Pixar movies made me cry...beautiful. And I got some COCO themed Mini ears too!

Day two we spent at California Adventures. I think this was lilys favorite place for the rides. First ride we went on, and two more times after it, was the Bear Canyon river run (I think that's what it's called) We got soaked! So much fun. Then Lily got to go on Guardians of the Galaxy, her favorite ride, Marks least favorite ride. Our girl is a thrill seeker. Jacob loved being in Cars Land, which was so cool. We saw more characters at CA, and especially the Avengers which Jacob was looking forward too the whole trip. He even got an autographed shield from Capitan America himself! Lily got to dance with Groot, which was so dang cute. If you know lily, you know she's got some serious moves, and she loves the attention! The light parade at the end of the night was my favorite, so cool. We had such a blast there. I think we need to add on an extra day there next time.

Day 3 :( Our last day at the happiest place on earth. It was so packed being it was a Saturday. we had to fast pass and family swap every ride we went on cause the lines were like an hour wait each. BUT we did use our Magic morning pass for this day so we could sign up Lily for Jedi training. She had a blast learning to be a Jedi. It was so cute to watch her. She still tells people she meets now that she is actually a trained Jedi. haha
I did not take very many pictures this day, cause it was so busy. But we had so much fun on our last day, we closed the park, didn't want to leave! End of the night we got to watch the fireworks over the Castle and went on the rides in fantasyland, small world, snow white etc, and of course the Matter horn which is my favorite ride at Disneyland and so much faster at night. Mark got soaked on our last ride, which who gets wet on the Matterhorn?! Mark does. bahaha!
My heart ached leaving Disneyland, so many fun childhood memories attached to this place for me and now memories with my little family. Such a magical place, hoping we can do this every year.
Um, who's child is not facing the audience? Mine. lol

My little Jedi!

This boy loved the T Cups! and Toon town. (note to self, spend more time in toon town.)

Before we left for home, we stopped for a few hours at Seal Beach so my little desert babies could enjoy the ocean. I love the ocean! I grew up near a beach always, so it kills me they don't get to enjoy it more often. I've decided that our family needs beach time every year, Mark agrees. They had so much fun playing in the water and sand castle building. Jacob was tossed around with the waves a bit, shivering cold, but he didn't want to leave. We walked on the pier and ate some awesome ceviche by the beach. It was a good day. And an amazing trip with my Eternal family. Love these people with all my soul!

Lily also lost her tooth the night before we left, so she was so dang cute in every picture we took.
