Nachicho Months 7-8
This boy is growing SO FAST! Can't believe how fast time is going, he's already wearing 12 month clothing! He's had his first swimming experience, ammusment park and beach experiences this month and is crawling both on his belly and knees. He has also began standing against furniture, but crys for someone to get him down cause he has not mastered the task quiet yet. He did so well while we were at Disneyland. We carried him in the ergo carrier and kicked his legs happily as we went visiting the sites while one of us went with the older kids on rides. It was some long busy days, but he handled it like a champ. I started taking him to gym childcare at both the club and crossfit, and he loves it. I was shocked he did not cry cause he does if I leave the room at home, but he feels totally comfortable at childcare, which is good for me. He loves to eat solids! If you are chewing something, he will lean into your mouth to try to get some of what's inside. Carrots, pears, puree peas and mashed bananas are his favorite. He is great about keeping to a routine and is by far our easiest baby to read. We know exactly the pattern to his care, which aliviates alot of frustrations. He does not like crawling on the turf grass out back and will lift himself in a downward dog pose and cry until someone comes to pick him up. He laughs at everyhting Jacob does and loves to have conversations with lily using baby bable and eyebrow shrugs. He smiles all the time! I'm convinced that it is just naturally how his cheeks rest. He loves to give kisses and cuddles, and loves to play with this family. Love love love this boy of ours so much and thank heavenly father often for him entering our life.

March to April 2022
Lots to say about the last couple months, havent had much time to write all our happenings!
The kids were on spring break in March, so we went to Disneyland Theme Parks and Universal studios with the kids. It was a really fast three days and we wish we would have stayed longer. Hopefully we can return in October for a week instead of three days. We had such a great time, and even Nacho enjoyed himself. We also got to go to the beach which was supposed to be just a stop and look visit to the beach, but then the kids decided to go all in (crazy kids). We had a wonderful spring break.
April brought Easter, which we celebrated both at home and in Tucson so we could celebrate with our moms and Auntie Clarice. I love spring in Arizona, the weather is so perfect, wish it could be like this all year round! However it is also the months that we end up with colds and stomach flu. Now that we don't hybernate at home due to covid, we are back to getting sick each April. We had a bought of stomach flu, started with Nacho then the older kids and I got it, but Mark lucked out. It was a bummer, but we survived. The kids are doing really well in school, and we are so proud of their love of school. Lily had her first orchastra concert, which was simple but great considering she didn't have a violin for most of the year, we went cheap on buying an instrument and got what we paid for...oops. We went to the Pima county fair to carry on our Ontiveros family tradition. It's a good opporturnity for us to pay tribute to Pop-pop as we share stories with the kids about dads childhood and his life with his dad. I love this little tradtion, it's good for the kids and for Mark who misses his father everyday. We also had lots of sports stuff this past month. Lily and Jacob participated in flag football this year and loved it. Jacob has a natural talent for it and we will more then likely sign him up again. Lily played on a team of all boys who have been playing together for years. I was nervous for her at first joining this team and feeling like she did not belong, but they were all so sweet with her and made sure she had every chance to participate. And, comon, it's Lily, that girl doesn't feel intimidated by anything! She had a great time. They also started playing basketball with the Jr. Suns league. They both have always loved basketball and did great! I think we are going competative league next time. Overall we are doing good, healthy and happy. Nacho is growing like crazy fast, crawling everywhere, standing and eating everything we make (except he HATES baby food. He'll only take food I make for him. And not a big fan of fruit.) He brings so much joy into our lives that we never knew we needed. Love our little Chicho SO MUCH!!

Nacho is 6 Months
Nachito bogito is now 6 months! This boy is the sweetest little man ever. He gives the most beautiful smiles all the time, so playful and loving. Gives us kisses and cuddles often. He is a huge daddy fan but loves all his family members and smiles when someone new walks into the room. He is moving around more and more everyday. He does a cool catepillar crawl across the room and i'm schocked does not have a rugburn on his face from it. And as of yesterday is starting to use one knee to help himself scoot across the room. He will be crawling very soon. He sits up well, but still tips over, it'll happen soon enough. No teeth yet, and we haven't started solids yet, not till his doctors appointment. He has tried a pickle, apple, cake frosting and apple sauce. So far the pickle was his favorite. He loves to be outside during our walks and he loves playing with his books. He has had his first cold, which we think may have been covid, but can't be sure since we can't test him. He had a fever for three days which sucked, and still has a little cough runny nose. Having a sick kid is the worst! But I guess he'd have to catch something at some point. Just glad he is okay. He also loves his bouncer and is constantly moving. That boy is like Jacob, can't stop moving around! We love our Nachito so much!!!

Nacho Months 4 to 5
Now, for the most beautiful child ever. Yes, I speak of Mr. Nacho. Holy moly how we love this boy! He is the sweetest and seriously most beautiful human ever. I love looking into his beatiful eyes and tell him that often. He gives the most amazing little smiles. It's almost like he is saying 'yes, I know you want a smile, so here you go.' last couple months he has been learning to sit up. Not quiet there yet without assistance, but he is sure making his moves around the family room. He will scoot himself backwards to get to things. Sometimes he will scoot himself into a corner and get himself stuck, which he is not a fan of. So we've had to move all legos and small toy items out of the family room because he will get to them. He gives the yummist kisses and they make me want to cry! They are just so beautiful. We have introduced him to the jumper and he loves it. He will play in it till he falls asleep, and then quickly wakes up and starts to jump again. He loves to be outside and go on walks with us. He is very observant, and will look all around him to see what is going on in the world. It is so much fun to see him watching and observing everyone. He has the cutest chubby cheeks, but is not a chubby baby, totally average weight. BUT he is so tall! he is wearing 6-9 months right now because the sleepers wont reach his shoulders. He is 89th percentile for height. He loves to grab at things, especially daddy's beard. He will hold on to it while he sleeps. He loves doing it so much that he will try reaching for it when I have him and grabs onto my loose face skin! hurts so bad, but soooo woth it. I'll need to grow my beard out just to satisfy him. He has the most beautil little hands, I love them so much. He will caress my face and it makes my heart leap. Seriously, I am amazed that one can love a little person so much when they already thought they had no more love to give. It's always strange to imagine another member of your family, but amazing how when they are hear it's like you've always known them. I am so in love with our three babies, it causes me lots of anxiety to think of anything bad happening to them. I just have to trust that they will be okay as Mark and I make the best decisions to keep them safe. They are my world! And little Nacho makes it feel so whole.
Oh, and we finally blessed him on December 5th. The tradition has been performed. Mark gave him a beautiful blessing, to which a member of our ward recorded and I'll have to write the words in his journal at some point in time.
